Eamon has spent almost three decades in the HDD industry, commencing with companies such as Cherrington, Nacap Drilling Malaysia and Coe Drilling, before starting with Directhitt. An accomplished and experienced HDD Engineer, he started with Directhitt in 2021, assuming the role of General Manager.
Eamon is responsible for all business development and contract management for the business. His experience covers design and construction of large diameter HDD crossings in a variety of ground conditions with extensive experience in shore crossings and HDD intersects throughout Australia and Southeast Asia over the past 27 years.

Albert has been a major part of the HDD Industry’s development in Australia since the early 1990’s. As an experienced utility contractor, he seen the need for trenchless installations early and purchased his first HDD rig and set to work providing Telecommunications installations which was then the main source of HDD work in Australia.
Other trenchless opportunities presented throughout the Oil & Gas, Water & Wastewater Industries and since then Albert has grown Directhitt to offer HDD and Laser Guided Microtunnelling throughout all aspects of the Utility Industry Australia wide, whilst providing innovation and upgrading his equipment fleet with a wide range of Rigs from 50t to 500t capacity.

Karl has 20+ years in the HDD drilling industry. His expert knowledge has progressed him through the ranks from a rig hand to his current position.
Karl has been the Directhitt Operations Manager since 2014, and since that time has managed operations for many difficult and complex HDD projects. Over two decades of drilling experience in a variety of progressively more responsible roles has meant that Karl has a wealth of experience in the varied and diverse disciplines needed for successful HDD operations in the field in differing conditions and cultures.
Karl’s impressive resume includes successful completion of multiple HDD crossings throughout Australia and Southeast Asia ranging up to 2200 meters in length and ream diameters up to 60”.
